How to register a Business start-up as Limited Liability Partnership (LLP)

1. Apply Director Identi Identification Number (DIN).
DIN is mandatory for all Designated Partners of a LLP. Each proposed Designated Partner can obtain this number using his/her address proof and identity proof. Application is an online process and usually it takes 2 to 3 days to get approval.
2. Apply for Digital Signature Certificate (DSC).

6. Execute LLP Agreement and Form 4
After LLP incorporation, LLP agreement which is the governing document needs to be prepared and executed. You have 30 days to file this document with Registrar.

A LLP needs PAN (tax numbers), Shops Registration, Service Tax, VAT etc depends on the nature of activity for functioning.
